Only a few days
London Theatre and the major sights.
This tour is based in a good quality 3-5 star central London Hotel (depending on your budget). After you have checked in, you will be taken on a walking tour of Westminster – seeing Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey and Covent Garden Market.
This morning you will be taken on a panoramic tour of London with a registered Professional Blue Badge Guide to see all the major sights of London. After lunch you can visit the Tower of London and see the Crown Jewels, return to Westminster by boat. After Dinner, it is time to go to the theatre to see one of our top West End shows.
London has so many amazing museums, Galleries and attractions... perhaps in the morning you might like to visit Westminster Abbey followed by seeing the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. Or perhaps visit the National Gallery or the British Museum – the choice is yours!

If you have a flight departing from London you might have time to visit Windsor Castle before your departure.
3 Day Wales, Stonehenge and Shakespeare
Depart early for an exclusive access to Stonehenge, going into the heart of the most famous stone circle in the world!
After a beautiful drive through the Cotswolds, we will arrive in the city of Bath and visit the Roman Baths.
Onwards to Cardiff – the capital City of Wales and visit the incredible Cardiff Castle.
Stay overnight in a central Cardiff hotel.
Depart from Cardiff and drive through the Brecon Beacons – perhaps you might like to visit some of the Welsh villages, visit the most spectacular cave in the UK, go down a coal mine and learn about what life was like as a collier or even use the time to do an activity like horse riding – the choice is yours.
Stay at a fantastic manor house and enjoy an excellent 3 course meal after “cocktails on the terrace”. We can even get a professional storyteller in to entertain you in the evening!
In the morning drive to Stratford upon Avon and visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace, after lunch, we will drive through some picture-perfect villages to Oxford where you will visit one of the colleges before returning to London.
Potter Magic in a few days!
The day starts seeing where the filming happened in London – see the entrance to Diagon Alley, Platform 9¾, Gringotts Bank and the “death-eaters bridge”.
Then it is time to see some of the mystical sights of England – starting with Stonehenge and Avebury.
One of the prettiest villages in England, Lacock was used for some of the filming and we will visit the potions classroom, Slughorn’s house and Harry’s House.
We will travel onto the Gloucester area where we will stay the night.
The amazing Cathedral in Gloucester played host to some of the most memorable scenes for the film: the troll; Filch’s cat Mrs Norris being hung up on the wall, plus much more.
We travel onto Oxford where you will visit two of the colleges where filming took place, including the inspiration for Hogwarts dining room.
The big finale
The “Making of Harry Potter” at Leavesden studios. This is absolutely brilliant – you will see the actual sets used, the costumes the makeup, the incredible creatures and learn how the magic was put together!
A Week or more
London to Edinburgh
On arrival visit Windsor Castle before coming into London and checking in to your centrally-located hotel for a 3 night stay.
Full Day sightseeing, with a professional guide, including a tour of Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London.
Theatre is a great option for this evening.
Time to investigate some of the museums and galleries of London or perhaps have a little shopping time!
Jack the Ripper in the evening or maybe a Ghost Walk.
Drive to Oxford, have a walking tour of this “city of dreaming spires” and visit one of the colleges. After lunch onto Stratford upon Avon where you can visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace.
Overnight in the Stratford Area.
In the morning we will drive up to the city of York and visit York Minster, famous for its stained glass windows. Have a walking tour along the city walls and through the narrow streets of Roman and medieval York.
Overnight in York
Drive to the Lake District and visit Wordsworth’s village, Grasmere, and perhaps take a boat trip on the lake or visit a farm similar to Beatrix Potter’s.

Onto Edinburgh via Hadrian’s Wall.
Central Edinburgh hotel for minimum 2 nights.
Morning panoramic tour of Edinburgh with a registered Edinburgh Guide including a visit to Edinburgh Castle.
Free time in the afternoon to explore the gems of the city.
In the evening you might fancy going to a Scottish céilidh evening, with music and dancing and a wonderful meal.
This is the time-conscious version... if you have more time then we would suggest 2 nights in Stratford Area and 2 nights in York – there is LOADS to see and do in these areas!
One week London Stay
Arrive to London and get settled into your central London hotel. Your guide will take you on a walking tour before dinner so you can see some of the great sights straight away.
Full Day sightseeing with a professional guide, firstly a panoramic tour of London by coach, seeing the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, then a spot of lunch and shopping time at Covent Garden Market.
After lunch you will have a tour of the British Museum, seeing the Parthenon Sculptures, The Rosetta Stone, and the Assyrian Collection.
In the evening you could visit one of our many historical pubs, or go to the theatre or walk in the footsteps of Jack the Ripper.
In the morning have a tour inside Westminster Abbey, host of coronations, royal weddings and famous burials. Take a river cruise to the Tower of London and visit the Crown Jewels.
Days 4 - 6
There are all manner of daytrips you might like to do – whether it be Oxford and Stratford, Canterbury and Dover, Stonehenge and Windsor Castle, Paris, Hampton Court Palace or even the Making of Harry Potter at Leavesden Studios. or you could spend the days enjoying London and see why Dr Samuel Johnson said “When a man is bored of London, he is bored of Life for there is all in London that life can afford”.
Departure day – a coach will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the airport or to Eurostar for your onward journey.
